Cheryl Renée

A dynamic and extremely popular bandleader, keyboardist, song stylist and "Goddess of the Blues" was born and reared in Cincinnati. She took off for the road with local R&B group MAD DOG FIRE DEPARTMENT in the early 1970's. Back in Cincy after 30 years, she teamed with local group THEM BONES and landed a top 10 spot at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, 2005. She also was nominated for a Cincinnati Entertainment Award in the Blues category.

In 2010, Cheryl Renée and Them Bones placed 3rd at the I.B.C.

Currently, there's the Cheryl Renée Project ( = Cheryl working). Find her around town with Them Bones, solo, duo or up to her own group Cheryl Renée's Blues Band

Cheryl's latest CD,CHERYL RENÉE LIVE with THEM BONES was recorded live at PICKLES BLUES EXTRAVAGANZA and released in 2008.

Released in 2001, I BELIEVE YOU KNOW THE BLUES, contains 5 songs from her 1st CD (unavailable) featuring THE RENÉE/RANDALL BLUES BAND from New England  and 5 songs from the Tennessee based CHERYL RENÉE'S BLUES BAND...both available at CDBABY below.
